You can send invoices for Shopify POS orders both from your Shopify store admin, Simple Invoice, and POS by following the simple steps below:
Shopify Store Admin
Click on the “Orders” section, select the POS Order you wish to send, then click ‘More Options’, and choose the ‘Send with Simplio’ option.
You can also send it from the order details section by clicking the ‘More actions’ button and selecting the ‘Send with Simplio’ option.
Simple Invoice
Select the order you wish to send in the “Orders” section, click on the ‘Send’ button, and then select ‘Invoice’.
You can also activate the automatic invoice-sending option for your POS orders.
Activating Automatic Invoice Sending to Shopify POS (Point of Sale) Orders
Step 1: Open Simple Invoice from your Shopify store’s “Apps” section.
Step 2: Click on “Settings” in the Simple Invoice dashboard.
Step 3: Scroll down to the ‘Set Additional Sending Conditions’, click the ‘Turn on automatic invoice sending to Shopify POS orders’ option, and select “On” from the dropdown menu.
Step 4: Please click the “Save” button to confirm your changes.
Sending Invoices from POS
You can send invoices from POS in two different ways.
Orders Section
If you want to send invoices from the Orders section of your POS, click on Home, select “Orders”, select the order you wish to send, and select “Send Invoice”.
Simple Invoice in POS
If you add Simple Invoice as a tile in POS, you can send invoices from Simple Invoice as well.
Click on the Simple Invoice tile, select the order or orders, click the ‘Send’ button, and select ‘Invoice’.
If you’re unsure how to add Simple Invoice as a tile, click “Add Tile”, then click “App”, and select “Add”.
