You can send invoices for Shopify draft orders from both Shopify Store Admin and Simple Invoice by following the simple steps below.
If you have not customized your draft order template and invoice email content, please customize them before you start sending your documents with Simple Invoice.
Customize Draft Order Templates
Step 1: Open Simple Invoice from your Shopify store’s “Apps” section.
Step 2: Click on “Templates” in the Simple Invoice dashboard.
Step 3: Click ‘Document Type’ and select ‘Draft’.
Step 4: After making the necessary changes, click the “Save” button.

After saving your template, please navigate to the ‘Sending Options’ in “Settings” and customize the Invoice Email Content.

Email content has a draft condition in which an invoice email for your draft order is sent, this condition will be visible.
When your customer clicks on the link, the link directs your customer to your Store Checkout Page where your customer can make a payment for the order.
When the transaction is completed, the order will be created from the draft order.
If you are using Shopify Markets, you can create draft orders by using the currency of the Markets you added.

Simple Invoice is also capable of sending invoices for draft orders in the currency of the Markets you selected.
Sending from Shopify Store Admin
Click on “Orders”, select ‘Drafts’, select the draft order you wish to send, click on the action button, and click the ‘Send with Simplio’ option.
You can also send your draft orders from the order details page by clicking on the draft order, clicking the ‘More Actions’ button, and selecting the ‘Send with Simplio’ option.
Sending from Simple Invoice
Step 1: Open Simple Invoice from your Shopify store’s “Apps” section.
Step 2: Click “Drafts” in the Simple Invoice dashboard, select the draft order you wish to send, and click the “Send” button.
