What is the ‘Send Only to BCC Email Field’ Feature?

The ‘Send Only to BCC Email Field’ feature is designed to streamline how invoices are shared after a customer places an order. This feature ensures that invoices are not sent to customers directly via email as soon as a purchase is made. Instead, the invoice is exclusively and automatically sent to the email address entered in the BCC Field, located under the Sending Conditions section on the Settings page. This allows businesses to manage invoice distribution more efficiently and securely.

You can also learn how to use the ‘Send Only to BCC’ feature by following the simple steps below.

Step 1: Open Simple Invoice from your Shopify store’s “Apps” section.

Step 2: Click on “Settings” in the Simple Invoice dashboard.

Step 3:Scroll down to the ‘Send Documents with Simple Invoice’ section and select the “Send Only to Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) Email Field” option.

Step 4: After selecting the ‘Send Only to Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) Email Field’ option, scroll down to the ‘Sending Options’ section. Click on the BCC field, enter the email address, and press the ‘Enter’ key to save it.

Step 5: After completing all customizations, click the ‘Save’ button to confirm your changes.
