What’s a Post Purchase Offer?
Implementing Post-Purchase Offers can significantly boost your business’s AOV (average order value) by providing customers with the opportunity to include additional products to their order even after they’ve completed initial checkout process.
How can I create post purchase offer?
Navigate to the Apps section of your Shopify store.
Click on the Simple Promotions & Upsells app.
Click on the “Post Purchase” from the left menu.
Click on the “Add Post Purchase” button.
1.General Settings
You can configure your general post purchase offer settings from this section. If you wish to add post purchase offer without publishing them, you can save it as turned off from the “Post Purchase Status” dropdown from the right.
Post Purchase Name: This is the name that just will be visible to you. You need to set a name for your PP offer in order to differentiate it later.
Post Purchase Status: This is the field where you turn on or turn off your offer.
Post Purchase Priority: The priority field is used to determine which PP offer should be displayed first. PP offer with the lower priority will be displayed first. If there is more than one PP offer with the same configuration, they will be displayed in random order. So, if you wish to display one of your PP offer first, set it as “1”.
2.Eligibility Triggers (Optional)
You can use eligibility triggers to display your offers with special conditions. Easily target different types of customers with almost unlimited options. If you don’t see the trigger you need, please let us know about it. This configuration is totally optional. If you wish to display your offers to all of your visitors, there is no need to add any triggers.
3.Promotional Products
You can set the products you would like to promote to your customers with your offer. Continuing with the example of Airfry, you can ensure that the relevant products you choose are displayed. Just type a few letters and hit search.
4.Preview Your Offer
This is how your offer is displayed to your customers depending on the products available in your store. right after purchase.
5.Translations
Feel free to change the relevant headings in the language and content you prefer. Don’t hesitate to be creative!
